The Gua Sha Fusion Facial is a deeply restorative, sculpting treatment that blends ancient Eastern techniques with modern holistic skincare to rejuvenate both the skin and nervous system from the inside out. Trained by Cecily Braden, a pioneer in facial Gua Sha and holistic beauty, I use a thoughtfully designed protocol that incorporates Gua Sha massage, herbal poultices, and therapeutic touch to support circulation, release facial and jaw tension, promote lymphatic drainage, reduce puffiness and inflammation, and naturally sculpt and lift the face. Each session is intuitively customized, creating a healing experience that goes beyond skincare. Youâll leave feeling radiant, relaxed, and reconnected â with visibly refreshed skin and a deeper sense of balance. This facial is ideal for anyone seeking a natural approach to aging, hormonal balance, or simply a calming space to reset and restore. Itâs the perfect way to enhance your glow with safe, skin-loving ingredients. ⨠Before Your Appointment ⨠For Sugaring: ⢠Exfoliate gently before your appointment and continue 2â3 times a week, starting 72 hours post-sugaring, to keep your skin smooth. ⢠Clean, dry skin is keyâplease avoid lotions, powders, or sprays before your appointment. ⢠Trim if needed! If itâs been a while and youâre rocking a full bush, please trim the hair to about the length of a grain of rice before your appointment. If the hair is too long, we may need to reschedule. This helps us provide the most effective and comfortable service possible. ⢠Avoid tight clothing around the areas being sugared to reduce irritation. ⢠No sun exposure (including tanning booths or spray tans) 72 hours before your appointment. Wait 48â72 hours post-sugaring if planning a spray tan. ⢠Hands off! Avoid touching your newly smooth skin, as hands carry bacteria that can irritate the skin. For Gua Sha: ⢠Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin to get the full benefit of the facial massage and products used during your session. ⢠Avoid sun exposure the day before your session to keep skin calm and ready for the massage. ⢠No heavy skincare right before your appointmentâavoid using any strong actives (like retinols) for 24 hours beforehand to allow your skin to fully benefit from the Gua Sha treatment. For Spray Tanning: ⢠Exfoliate your body 24 hours before your appointment, focusing on elbows, knees, and ankles. ⢠Arrive with clean, dry skinâno lotions, oils, perfumes, deodorant, or makeup. ⢠Shave or wax/sugar at least 24 hours before your appointment, not the same day. ⢠Wear or bring loose, dark clothing and sandals. Tight clothes can rub and cause uneven spots. ⢠Plan to avoid water, sweating, or skin contact during the development time. ⢠Schedule tans 1â2 days before big events so your color has time to settle. SUGARHOLIC POLICIES PLEASE READ CAREFULLY PRIOR TO BOOKING BOOKING DEPOSIT ⢠A non-refundable deposit is required to book all appointments. ⢠The deposit will be applied toward your service total. ⢠Deposits are forfeited for cancellations or reschedules made within 48 hours of the appointment. ⢠Each deposit may be transferred to a maximum of two rescheduled appointments when changes are made with 48 hoursâ notice or more. ⢠Reschedules made within 48 hours do not count toward the two allowed transfers and will result in forfeiture of the deposit. ⢠After two reschedules (with proper notice), the deposit is forfeited and a new deposit is required to book again. ⢠Gift cards may be used toward the remaining balance at the time of service. A booking deposit is still required to reserve the appointment. CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING ⢠Cancellations or reschedules made 48 hours or more in advance will not be penalized. ⢠Cancellations or reschedules made with less than 48 hoursâ notice will result in forfeiture of the booking deposit. ⢠No-call / no-shows will be charged 100% of the service total to the card on file. ⢠If the charge is declined, booking privileges will be restricted and the balance must be paid in full before rebooking online. ⢠All bookings, cancellations, and reschedules must be completed through our online booking system. We are unable to make scheduling changes via text message, social media, or email. LATE ARRIVAL ⢠Please notify us if you are running late. ⢠Arrivals 10 minutes late may need to be rescheduled. ⢠Arrivals 15 minutes or more late will be considered a no-show and charged accordingly. HAIR LENGTH REQUIREMENTS (SUGARING) ⢠Hair must be approximately the length of a grain of rice for effective sugaring. ⢠If hair is too short at the time of the appointment, the service may not be able to be performed and will be treated as a late cancellation. Please note: If you cancel or reschedule an appointment because you believe your hair may be too short, the booking deposit will still be forfeited if the change is made within 48 hours of your appointment. It is the clientâs responsibility to book their appointment far enough out to ensure adequate hair growth. When in doubt, we recommend waiting an extra week to allow hair to reach the proper length. MENSTRUAL CYCLE / PERIOD POLICY Sugaring services can be performed during your period as long as a tampon or menstrual cup is worn for the duration of the service. ⢠Pads, period underwear, or free-flowing menstruation are not permitted during bikini or Brazilian services. ⢠If you arrive unable or unwilling to wear a tampon or menstrual cup, the appointment will need to be rescheduled and will be treated as a late cancellation. ⢠Deposits will be forfeited for same-day cancellations or reschedules related to menstruation. ⢠Repeated last-minute cancellations due to menstruation may result in restricted booking privileges. If you anticipate being on your period, please schedule accordingly. ILLNESS ⢠Please do not attend your appointment if you are sick. ⢠Last-minute illness cancellations are still subject to our cancellation policy. GUESTS ⢠To maintain a calm and safe environment, no additional guests or children are permitted in the treatment room unless receiving a service or acting as a translator. ⢠Disruptive guests will not be permitted to remain in the studio. PAYMENTS & REBOOKING ⢠Cards are securely stored at the time of booking. ⢠Any unpaid fees must be cleared before rebooking. ⢠No refunds will be provided for deposits, gift certificates, or services rendered. COMMUNICATION ⢠Inquiries are responded to during business hours only. ⢠Please allow 24â72 hours for a response. AGREEMENT By booking an appointment with Sugarholic, you acknowledge and agree to all policies listed above. Policies apply to all appointments without exception.
